A downloadable TTRPG

Stars Align is a modular, table top role playing game with a little twist in the way that checks are made.

Like most games, you roll dice when the outcome of something is uncertain. In Stars Align, the difficulty of your checks always stays the same, but the dice you roll will change to reflect what chance you have at it.

Stars Align has the ability to create interesting and nuanced conflicts out of just about anything because challenges can take multiple forms. Foes, problems, obstacles and zones can be the focus of any encounter.

Extra rules for customizing your game have been included as well, such as magic, animal traits, companions and more! These will also release as free modules separate from the game, formatted to be more easily introduced into your world. Guides for making your own extra rules have been included as well.

And the game is free! Just go ahead and download it, the character sheet, or any other reference sheets to use as either a player or storyteller. Additional modules to customize your game will be available over time, as well as new settings to explore.

Thank you for taking your time to check out this game, and may your stars align as you desire.

This game is a re-branding of the Meta: Roleplaying System, carrying over from the v0.9.9.1 release. Explanation for the re-branding can be found in a devlog over here

Hello, what genre is this game?

(1 edit)

Hey Mint! This system is not genre specific, it's more like an SRD or a framework to build games & settings upon.

If you used the introductory characters & corresponding introductory game though, that would be a Modern Action Game! But it's intended to be setting/genre agnostic.
